Sixty
When I was developing Sixty I was looking for a way to play a very quick game (less than 60 seconds from start to finish) on social media with viewers. I wanted players to be able to have a quick flow of action, simple play & scoring, and something that could be played solo or as a group. A bingo or lucky number aspect combined with the individual action of rolling dice was floating around in my head as possible game mechanics.
I LOVE making games, and want to share that feeling with you so I videoed part of the creative invention process as my experiment with TMI Boom's "Let's Make A Game" series. I will post a link after I have edited it.
In the end I don't think this is really a game that can be played via a one way video post (I will still create some!) with the audience, but it turned into an action-filled, low strategy, satisfying resolution game that can be played solo or with a group of varying size at a family gathering or get-together of all ages friends.
DIY games are about playing a wide variety (something for everyone) of games, playing in-person (get physical), and sharing the experience (make some fun memories), and Sixty fits the bill on the entry level end, which is what we need to get more people playing games. And if you want to, it can definitely be played in under 60 seconds.
Please support our efforts by purchasing a downloadable, printable copy of the rules and scoring sheets of Sixty at the TMI Boom SHOP.

Please subscribe, like, comment where you do your social media - the more you support us the more we can create and share fun stuff.
Reach out, let me know what you think, how you did, what you would like to see in the future. I said earlier how much I love making the games, but when someone clicks with a particular game or if something I made brightens their day, it's rewarding in an amazing way and fuels me to do more.
Thank you and have a great day.
