Ms. Cookie is an educator, illustrator, and musician in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Besides being an amazing creative person (and my sister!) she is one of my connections to the education world where DIY gaming can connect families and grow minds.

Ms. Cookie is acting as TMI Boom's avatar for that boots-on-the-ground educator that can use game resources to engage their students and community.

 #1 Ms. Cookie's Game Gauntlet for Kids

Ms. Cookie shared some Pathem puzzle with her class one day and the puzzles were difficult for the kids (Pathem is a tougher-than-typical word game), but she noticed they were very engaged and enjoyed the challenge.

Great news, because DIY gaming isn't about easy entertainment, it's about joyous challenges, earned successes, and shared experiences. 

After hearing her story we published this 6 puzzle (with solutions) doc of Pathem "level one" puzzles for her students to play.
