Hawaii has some of it's own special local flavor and the Hawaiian Black-Foot 'Opihi (an edible limpet) is a marine gastropod mollusc I grew up prying off lava rocks with a kitchen knife and eating raw or cooked upside down in it's own shell over a camp fire with a sqeeze of garlic butter cooked.
