Our cat Loki is a local neighborhood legend. In his prime his teritory ranged for blocks up and down our hill. Feared by rodents, birds, and small dogs, Loki was as alpha as alpha got.
Now he enjoys the retired life sunning himself in the driveway during the day and putting on some pounds. He is patient with neighbors old and young who can walk by and give him a pet (as long as it's not against the grain).
Loki and a trip to Japan, where we saw "temple cats" while visiting the Fushimi Inari Shrine (the torii gates in southern Kyoto), inspired our "I AM NOT A CAT" art series which has been used in collaboration with Puzzle Decks™ card puzzles.
